The Clark Gable Suite

Sleep where Rhett Butler slept! That’s right - The Clark Gable Suite, our two bedroom suite located on the second floor, is a famous room in Natchez! Mr. Gable, best known for his starring role in the blockbuster movie “Gone With the Wind” was a personal friend of Sam Abbott, Jr. – a Hollywood Executive who just happened to grow up at GardenSong! Mr. Gable loved visiting Natchez, and when he did, this was his room! It is especially unusual, featuring old pickled paneling and an enclosed portion of the old “sleeping porch”. The Mayor's House was built in 1880 and has recently been beautifully restored.
